Aardvark is a technical environmental consultancy with a dedicated Energy and Carbon team. We have over 30 years collective experience in energy and undertaking greenhouse gas (GHG) emission assessments and assurance and in delivering carbon reduction programmes. We have been using carbon as a business management tool for the last 12 years.

Our team are highly trained and experienced with accreditation for BREEAM for Offices, International and Bespoke, Code for Sustainable Homes, Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and Display Energy Certificates (DEC), Carbon Trust Standard. We are CIBSE and RICS affiliated.

We prefer clients to use carbon as a business management tool to make savings and reinvest to make them more profitable than to use offsets.

Why TC2?

Greenhouse gases are transboundary and their rise will affect every individual on the planet. At present, the global average per head of population is around 7.5 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide Equivalents (tCO₂e); with a massive range from 45 tCO₂e in Middle East states to below 0.5 tCO₂e in sub Saharan Africa; 12 tCO₂e in the UK and in the US the average is 25 tCO₂e (IPCC 2008).
